Ph.D. Eng. Josué Enríquez-Zárate is a National Researcher Level 1 in Mexico, with a PhD in Mechanical Design Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering specialized in Mechatronic Systems. He has extensive experience in the wind energy industry, having worked with companies such as INGETEAM Mexico and ADVENTIS.

His research focuses on vibration control and structural monitoring applied to wind turbines, buildings, and offshore structures. He has conducted postdoctoral research in structural control for wind turbines and completed a research stay at Andes University in Chile, working on monitoring and damage detection of wind turbine blades.

His industrial expertise includes wind turbine design, inspection, and technical training, as well as the use of advanced measurement and sensing systems for structural analysis and performance evaluation.
